Spring break camp for young animal lovers

The Arizona Humane Society (AHS) is excited to announce its Spring Break Camp Youth Volunteer Days, inviting young animal enthusiasts aged 9 to 11 to engage in enriching activities. This initiative takes place at the Rob & Melani Walton Papago Park Campus, offering children a unique opportunity to interact with various animals.

Participants, known as the Compassion Crew, will work on innovative projects designed to enhance the lives of shelter pets. Activities include creating puzzle feeders, implementing scent enrichment, and designing toys. Multiple sessions are scheduled, allowing attendees to participate in one or all days filled with animal-themed excitement.

Session 1 is set from March 11 to March 13, while Session 2 runs from March 18 to March 20. Both sessions will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The campus is located at 5501 E. Van Buren St. Registration fees are $75 per day or $185 for all three days.
