On January 25, the Cave Creek Rodeo Queens were officially crowned at the Holland Center, showcasing a fierce competition among eight talented participants for the titles of Queen, Sr Queen, and Jr Queen.

Queen Bio – Julie Bloomfield
Julie Bloomfield, a 23-year-old honors student at Brigham Young University, has a passion for rodeo deeply rooted in her upbringing. With a focus on remote business marketing, her education complements her ambitions to become a rodeo queen. Growing up in a family of eight near a 40,000-acre cattle ranch, Julie’s bond with Arizona’s agricultural history has shaped her values. She aims to honor her family’s legacy and inspire future generations through her role in the Cave Creek community.

Sr Queen Bio – Madisyn Desautelle
Madisyn Desautelle, a 15-year-old freshman at Cactus Shadows High School, participated in the inaugural princess program at Cave Creek Rodeo Days. She has built an impressive resume in rodeo, securing top placements with the Queen Creek Junior Rodeo Association. Her aspirations include becoming a professional barrel racer and contributing to her community through ranch management. Madisyn hopes to galvanize other young women to pursue their passions, demonstrating the spirit of rodeo.

Jr Queen Bio – Kinsley Clifton
Kinsley Clifton, a 14-year-old Cave Creek native, began her journey in the rodeo realm at a young age. Currently a freshman at Cactus Shadows High School, she competed in the youth princess program back in 2018. Kinsley is now actively involved in various rodeo events, showcasing her skills in breakaway roping, pole bending, and barrel racing. Determined to highlight the dedication required for rodeo, she aspires to pursue a career in horsemanship, staying connected to her roots.

Cave Creek Rodeo Days: March 27-30

The upcoming event, recognized as one of the Valley’s premier rodeos, features elite competitors from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA). This year marks the 46th anniversary of Cave Creek Rodeo Days, proudly sponsored by Sanderson Ford.

Attendees can expect three exhilarating PRCA rodeo performances, set against the backdrop of the Cave Creek Memorial Arena. A newly constructed Skybox for dignitaries and sponsors is also debuting this year, the result of a reimbursement contract with the Town Council, facilitated by Tate Studio Architects.

The event is a tribute to community, relying on volunteers, sponsors, and fan support. Among the highlights, the Cave Creek Rodeo Parade will take place on March 22 at 9:00 a.m., marching through downtown Cave Creek. The festivities kick off with “All Bulls, All Night” on March 27 at 7:30 p.m., showcasing bull riders and fighters.

Friday’s performance, “Tough Enough to Wear Pink,” supports breast cancer awareness, while Sunday recognizes the Wrangler National Patriot Day, assisting military veterans and their families. Tickets are available online and may be printed or saved electronically for entry. General admission is $35, and premium experiences in the Stockman’s Club and Skybox are also available, offering exclusive perks.

The Cave Creek Memorial Arena, located at 37201 N. 28th Street, has expanded parking and shuttle services for guests. Prepare for a memorable rodeo experience this March!
