Exciting Film Challenge Begins October 11!

Valley filmmakers are gearing up for an exciting opportunity as the 2024 A3F One-Shot | One-Angle 72 Hour Short Film Challenge approaches. Scheduled for October 11-14, this event welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels to showcase their creativity and filmmaking prowess.

“This is your chance to make a short film and become Almost Famous!” remarked co-founder Jae Staats, highlighting the potential impact of the event on local filmmakers.

This year’s challenge introduces an innovative twist, offering teams the option to either craft a traditional one-shot film with only two record presses or to produce a film using a single angle while employing multiple shots and scenes. This format aims to push the boundaries of participants’ skills and creativity.

A kickoff party will take place on October 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Huss Brewing Uptown Phoenix Taproom + Kitchen, located at 100 E. Camelback Road. Enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and learn more about the challenge, as well as register their teams for this fast-paced competition.
