Driver Flees Scene of Fatal Crash in Phoenix, Authorities Report

PHOENIX — A deadly collision occurred early Saturday morning, resulting in the death of one man, as reported by local authorities. The Phoenix Police Department indicated that the incident took place around 6 a.m. at the intersection of 58th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the driver of one vehicle suffering from serious injuries. Despite attempts to assist him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed by the police.

The driver of the other vehicle involved attempted to flee on foot before police arrived, but was later apprehended. Authorities have stated they were able to identify and detain this individual.
