PHOENIX — A man has been arrested for allegedly crashing a car into a residence and assaulting the occupant. According to the Phoenix Police Department, the incident took place Friday night near State Route 51 and Bethany Home Road.

Following the collision, the home’s resident attempted to flee but was confronted by the driver of the vehicle. Reports indicate that the driver physically assaulted the homeowner during the encounter.
