Driver Charged Following Pedestrian Collision in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A driver was arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly hitting a pedestrian in Scottsdale. The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. near 81st Street and Indian School Road, as reported by the Scottsdale Police Department.

The pedestrian has sustained life-threatening injuries, though no further updates on their condition have been released. In response to the incident, police have partially closed the roadway for investigation. Currently, the eastbound lanes remain open, while westbound traffic from 82nd Street to Hayden Road is blocked off.
