Driver Arrested After Dramatic Crash Into Phoenix Home During High-Speed Police Chase

PHOENIX — Early Friday morning, a driver was apprehended after crashing their vehicle into a home while attempting to evade police. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the vicinity of 59th Avenue and McDowell Road.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers initiated a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle, but the driver failed to comply. The pursuit led the driver into a residential area where they lost control, resulting in a crash that impacted multiple parked cars and substantially damaged a nearby house.

Authorities reported that the driver was taken into custody and transported to a hospital as a precaution. Fortunately, no injuries to others were reported despite the significant damage to the home’s front exterior.
