Explore spooky Irish folklore

Residents of the Valley are invited to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Irish folklore this Halloween at The Haunted Castle. This unique interactive experience, jointly hosted by the Irish Cultural Center, McClelland Library, and Ronin Theatre Company, will run from October 24 to November 1.

The event features eight original adaptations of haunting Irish ghost stories. Attendees will journey throughout the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library, located at 1106 N. Central Ave., to witness reimagined tales, including legends of the Banshee and vampires. It’s a family-friendly experience, ensuring young audiences can enjoy the festivities.

Guests can expect a total run time of 1.5 to 2 hours, with groups capped at 15 participants to foster an intimate atmosphere. Accessibility is a priority, as all venue locations are ADA compliant. Attendees will find chairs at each storytelling spot for their comfort. Additionally, themed cocktails, mocktails, and snacks will be available for purchase, alongside ample candy to satisfy those with a sweet tooth.

While tickets can be purchased at the door based on availability, pre-booking is strongly encouraged to ensure entry. For more information and ticket reservations, please visit www.azirish.org/ronin-theatre.
