Discovering Nirvana: A Journey to Hidden Valley Awaits
A retail space on Papago Road in Hidden Valley is set to transition from an exotic pet shop to a cannabis dispensary. County officials confirm that plans are underway for the new establishment, which will occupy the former location of the Raceway Bar and Grill.
The proposed dispensary, named Nirvana, is currently under review in the county planning process. James Daniels, a spokesperson for Pinal County and member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, indicated that it will be located at 49237 W. Papago Road.
Rand Del Cotto, another Planning and Zoning Commission member, is the owner of the Raceway plaza where the dispensary will operate. This move comes as Maricopa welcomes its first dispensary, currently under construction at the intersection of Honeycutt Avenue and John Wayne Parkway, adjacent to a new Stonegate shopping center.
Nirvana Center Dispensaries is a part of Trulieve Cannabis Corporation, which is the largest chain of dispensaries in Arizona, based in Florida. The rapid expansion highlights the growing acceptance and demand for cannabis retail in the region.
