Here's where the next Summer Olympics will be held

The Olympics are coming back to the United States soon.

PARIS, France — The Paris Games are concluding with an elaborate Closing Ceremony at the Stade de France.

Fans bid farewell to the French capital and look forward to the next four years. The 2028 Summer Olympics will return to the United States for the first time since Salt Lake City hosted the Winter Olympics in 2002.

Los Angeles is set to host the Summer Olympics for the third time, with previous events held in 1932 and 1984.

Competitions will occur within Los Angeles and its surrounding areas, with notable venues announced in Carson and Long Beach.

The Los Angeles Olympics will take place from July 14-30, 2028. Following this, Brisbane, Australia, is slated to host the 2032 Summer Olympics.

The 2026 Winter Olympics will remain in Europe, with Italy hosting the Milano-Cortina Games.

France has conditional approval for the 2030 Winter Olympics, centered on French Alps ski resorts and the coastal city of Nice. However, full approval is pending due to current parliamentary shifts.

Salt Lake City is confirmed as the preferred candidate for the 2034 Winter Games, marking its return to hosting since 2002.

From 1924 to 1992, both the Winter and Summer Olympics were held every four years simultaneously. Since 1994, the events have alternated every two years, starting with the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, followed by the Summer Games in Atlanta in 1996.
