Desert Hills Community School of Music Launches Registration for 3rd Annual Band Camp Extravaganza

From June 2-6, 2025, the Desert Hills Community School of Music (DHCSM) will host its 3rd Annual Band Camp, designed for wind and percussion players aged 10-16. The weeklong event aims to enhance students’ musical skills, encourage collaboration, and provide exposure to professional musicians. Located at the Desert Hills Presbyterian Church in North Scottsdale, the camp offers a picturesque setting for budding musicians.
Participants can opt for a half-day program running from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $375, or a full-day option from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $525; prices increase after May 15. Full-day campers will receive lunch from Monday through Thursday, included in the fee.
For families with financial constraints, scholarships are available. Notably, this year introduces free transportation for the first twelve registrants, facilitated by Caring Corps. Pick-up will occur at 8:20 a.m. near Sandra Day O’Connor High School and North Valley Christian Academy, with drop-off around 3:30 p.m.
To maximize the Band Camp experience, students should ideally have a minimum of one year’s experience on their instruments. For additional information or to enroll, please visit the Desert Hills Community School of Music website.
