PHOENIX — A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred near 35th Avenue and Van Buren Street late last night.

The shooting took place shortly after 11:30 p.m., resulting in the death of the victim, identified as 45-year-old Darryl Skinner. Emergency responders found him with a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the homicide unit are now leading the investigation into the incident. On Wednesday, police arrested 47-year-old Craig Earl Arnwine. He faces charges including murder and possession of a weapon.
