Deadly Shooting in North Phoenix Apartment Leaves Man Lifeless
PHOENIX — A man was killed in a shooting at a north Phoenix apartment complex late Monday night, prompting a swift police response. The incident occurred near 42nd Avenue and Bell Road shortly after 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found 28-year-old Lawrence Robinson suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders quickly transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
In the aftermath, police identified a potential suspect, 25-year-old Correy Cooks Jr., who is now in custody. Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident to gather more information surrounding the shooting.

Callers can remain anonymous, and those whose tips lead to an arrest might be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
