PHOENIX — The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 have been shut down following a collision west of Phoenix, as reported by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

The incident causing the closure occurred near Verrado Way, with no current estimate for when the lanes will be reopened.

Motorists in the area should anticipate delays and are encouraged to take alternative routes.

Eastbound lanes of I-10 remain open and unaffected by the crash.
