Community invited to ‘Warm Wishes’ concert

Valley families are set to enjoy a festive treat as the Southwest Vocal Alliance presents its inaugural holiday concert, “Warm Wishes,” on December 15 at 3 p.m. The event will take place at Lincoln Heights Christian Church, located at 2121 E. Lincoln Drive.

This family-friendly concert boasts a lineup of classic holiday songs delivered in the distinctive a cappella “Barbershop” style by a local mixed-gender chorus. Attendees can also look forward to special performances by various talented quartets, along with holiday treats, raffle prizes, and a visit from Santa Claus.

The Southwest Vocal Alliance practices weekly at Orangewood Presbyterian Church and showcased their talent at First United Methodist Church earlier this summer. This choir made waves by competing at an international level with the Barbershop Harmony Society and will host a regional contest at The Madison in May 2025.

Tickets for the concert are priced at $20 and can be purchased online at www.svabhs.com/holiday24 or at the door. Children 12 and under can attend for free, ensuring an enjoyable outing for families.
