City Greenlights Permits for Four Apartment Developers

A recent drone photo has captured the ongoing construction of Southbridge Marketplace, a retail development by Thompson Thrift. Anticipated tenants include popular chains such as Panera Bread and Five Guys, according to the developer’s leasing plan.

During the period from November 11 to December 9, a variety of permits were issued in the area, reflecting an active development landscape.

In the commercial sector, the following permits were granted:

APEX Motor Sports received a tenant improvement permit valued at $25,000.

Electrical District No. 3 secured an alteration permit worth $6,000.

Home at Maricopa obtained a permit for a shade structure that includes ramadas, cabanas, and a playground, totaling $138,000.

Ironwood Ranch Apartments was issued a swimming pool permit valued at $155,000, with Rondo Pools and Spas as the contractor.

Desert Cedars Equities received two at-risk grading and drainage permits for Southbridge Marketplace.

Overland Apartments was granted a shade structure permit for carports at Reinsman Commons, valued at $1.1 million.

Stonegate BFC secured a major development review permit for a build-to-rent apartment project.

Lastly, Volkswagen of America received a shade structure permit valued at $75,000.

Residential construction also showed promising activity with several proposals approved:

Beazer Homes Holdings plans to construct three homes in Rancho Mirage.

DFC Rancho intends to build 15 homes in the same area.

D.R. Horton received approval for one home in Sorrento.

Meanwhile, Gehan plans to add two homes in The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado.

K. Hovnanian is set to construct 11 homes in Santa Rosa Springs and one in Rancho Mirage.

KB Home will build three homes in Desert Passage.

Lennar Arizona received a permit for six homes in Anderson Farms.

Meritage aims to construct 23 homes in Rancho Mirage and 13 homes in Province.

Pulte Home Company plans to build one home in El Rancho Santa Rosa, while Richmond American is set to construct 20 homes in The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado.
