City Council Greenlights $900K Land Deal for New Trampoline Park Attraction

The Maricopa City Council approved an $897,336 land sale to Northrim Elevate Holdings for a trampoline park during last night’s meeting. This unanimous decision marks a significant step toward the establishment of Elevate Trampoline Park on a vacant 2-acre parcel located at the southwest corner of John Wayne and Alterra Parkways.
This development has been in the works since July, when then-City Manager Rick Horst first mentioned plans for the 25,000-square-foot entertainment venue. Horst emphasized the community’s need for more family-oriented activities, stating, “more entertainment, more things for kids to do and families to do.”
Elevate Trampoline Park already operates 12 locations across the United States, including sites in Mesa, Queen Creek, Goodyear, and Tucson. The park features a flat hourly rate for customers, with no admission fees for non-jumpers.
Alongside the trampoline park approval, the council also unanimously sanctioned a controversial land sale for a new hospital situated just north of Copper Sky. Despite previous delays due to disagreements over contractual terms, the hospital project received approval after thorough discussion.
These developments reflect a growing trend in the city to enhance recreational facilities for residents and families.
