Christian Bros Launches First Auto Repair Shop in Thriving MCG Corridor

A new Christian Brothers Automotive shop is set to open at the intersection of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and Stonegate Road, marking a significant addition to the area’s automotive services.
Ziad Kaakouch, president of Z & Co., the civil engineering firm managing the project from Cypress, Texas, confirmed the location’s details today.
The development was initially disclosed in a memo filed with the City of Maricopa on June 19. The proposed site will span 1.8 acres and provide a range of services, including diagnostics, brake and suspension repairs. Notably, the facility will not engage in high-noise operations like bodywork or tire recapping.
This establishment will enhance a rapidly growing commercial area that currently features a Jiffy Lube, a Fast & Friendly Car Wash, and an Autozone, but lacks a traditional repair shop. Additionally, an O’Reilly Auto Parts is also projected for upcoming construction.
Christian Brothers, headquartered in Houston, specializes in post-warranty vehicle repairs. While some engine or transmission replacements may occur on-site, the company typically subcontracts major rebuilds to minimize operational noise and disruptions.
Currently, no timeline for construction has been announced.
