CAVIT Searches for New Maricopa Board Member Following Alma Farrell’s Passing

A vacancy has opened on the Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology District Governing Board following the passing of board member Alma Farrell. The open seat represents the Maricopa Unified School District and will be filled through an appointment process.
Pinal County School Superintendent Jill Broussard is responsible for appointing a qualified candidate to serve the remaining term, which concludes on December 31, 2026.
Residents who are zoned for the Maricopa Unified School District and wish to be considered for the position are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates can access application forms online through the Pinal County School Superintendent’s Office website.
Completed applications must be printed, signed, and notarized before submission. They can be sent by mail or delivered in person to the Pinal County School Office no later than 5 p.m. on April 15.
