Cave Creek Museum Unveils “A Dozen Desert Demises” Exhibition

Cave Creek Museum is set to host an intriguing presentation titled “A Dozen Ways of Dying in the Desert” on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2 to 4 PM. Renowned speaker Leonard Marcisz will guide attendees through a fascinating exploration of the dangers lurking in the Sonoran Desert.
Marcisz highlights various threats, including rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, and more. “What a way to go,” he quips, emphasizing the unusual ways humans can meet their end amid the desert’s beauty. With a deep commitment to Arizona’s history, Marcisz has held significant roles, including serving on the board of the Arizona Historical Society and as vice chairman of Scottsdale’s Historic Preservation Commission. His contributions to regional history are recognized through various articles published in national magazines.
