Car crashes into light pole in the Meadows, flees the scene

A silver sedan collided with a light pole in Maricopa Meadows and subsequently fled the scene this morning. The incident occurred on Hogenes Boulevard, situated between Rainbow Drive and Orchid Avenue, at approximately 9:40 a.m., as reported by Phoenix Regional Dispatch.

By 9:50 a.m., a city-owned utility vehicle had arrived next to the downed light pole. The vicinity showed signs of damage, including numerous tree branches that had been knocked down and areas of grass that appeared to have been ripped up, leaving behind prominent tire marks.

Footage shared by a local Ring app user captured the damaged silver sedan driving southbound on Hogenes Boulevard. The vehicle, which displayed significant damage to its rear bumper and passenger door, was allegedly dragging a tree branch beneath it.
