Maricopa police have arrested Don McCray in connection with a recent theft at a Cricket Wireless store located in the Maricopa Market on John Wayne Parkway. Last week, McCray reportedly walked into the store, snatched an iPhone 16 Pro Max, stuffed it into his pants, and exited without paying for the device.

Shortly after the incident, officers apprehended McCray. However, police documents reveal that he did not stop there. Just hours later, he allegedly stole a Google Pixel Watch 3 from a nearby T-Mobile store situated across the street.

Witnesses provided descriptions that helped police connect McCray to both thefts. Authorities tracked him down on Friday at the intersection of Honeycutt and Taft Avenues, where they found him in possession of the stolen items. Additionally, they discovered narcotic paraphernalia on his person.

Records from the Maricopa Municipal Court indicate that McCray faces charges not only for theft but also for possession of drug paraphernalia and false reporting to law enforcement. His address is listed as Reseda, California, which is part of the Los Angeles metro area.

McCray was subsequently booked into the Pinal County jail. If convicted of all charges, he could face a prison sentence of up to four years and three months.
