Bullhead City Tragedy: Woman Fatally Shot After Knife-Wielding Confrontation, Police Report

A knife-wielding aggressor was shot and killed during an Aug. 8 confrontation in Bullhead City, according to police. Officers responded at 7:50 p.m. to the 900 block of Seafair Drive where a woman had been shot.

Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt explained that 49-year-old Lucindy Gale Parkison, a Bullhead City resident, was discovered dead inside the home.

Fromelt reported that Parkison visited the property intending to confront the residents over ongoing issues. Armed with a knife, she advanced towards them and pushed a female resident against a wall. The female sustained a defensive wound to her hand when the knife was held to her throat.

“A male resident grabbed a gun and demanded she leave their property,” Fromelt stated. “Parkison reportedly charged at the male with her knife and she was shot multiple times.”

Fromelt noted that the residents have cooperated with police, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
