Border Patrol Union Endorses Trump During Arizona Trip

By Daniel Stefanski |

Former President Donald Trump garnered a pivotal endorsement this week during his campaign in Arizona. At a rally in Prescott Valley on Sunday, he received backing from the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC).

The organization, representing 16,000 members, declared their support through a social media announcement. “We strongly support and endorse Donald J. Trump for President of the United States,” they stated.

During the event, NBPC President Paul Perez issued a stark warning about the implications of the upcoming election. “If we allow border czar Harris to win this election, every city, every community in this great country is going to hell,” he proclaimed, criticizing the current administration’s immigration policies.

Perez further asserted, “Only one man can fix that. That is Donald J. Trump.” He emphasized Trump’s unwavering support for Border Patrol agents who risk their lives for national security.

Art Del Cueto, Vice President of the NBPC, echoed this sentiment, asserting, “Zero question as to who should lead this country. The time to save America is NOW!!”

State Senator Janae Shamp, known for her hardline stance on immigration, expressed her support on social media. “They know exactly what is at stake and who can fix it!” she wrote, thanking Border Patrol officers for their commitment to protecting Americans.

The council’s endorsement of Trump was described as unanimous. In a press release from the Trump-Vance campaign, it was revealed that Trump has vowed to enhance border security by recruiting 10,000 new Border Patrol agents and proposing salary increases along with signing bonuses.
