Booker's clutch jumper lifts Suns to 108-106 win over Bucks

PHOENIX — In a thrilling finish, Devin Booker hit a mid-range jumper with just 1.7 seconds remaining, giving the Phoenix Suns a narrow 108-106 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. This win marks the Suns’ fourth consecutive victory, solidifying their position for the Western Conference play-in tournament with only ten games left in the regular season.

Kevin Durant led the Suns with an impressive 38 points, while Booker contributed 19 crucial points, including the game-winner after receiving an in-bounds pass. The dramatic final moments featured Brook Lopez missing a turnaround jumper that could have equalized the game for Milwaukee as time expired.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was a standout for the Bucks, scoring 31 points, with Lopez adding 23. Kyle Kuzma’s corner 3-pointer, completed with a foul for a 4-point play, gave Milwaukee a brief 105-103 lead with just over a minute left.

Durant responded immediately with a 3-pointer, reclaiming the lead for Phoenix, before Lopez tied the game with a free throw, setting the stage for Booker’s decisive basket.

Coach Mike Budenholzer has been adjusting the rotation in an attempt to find the right mix around stars Booker and Durant. Despite not being flawless, the current lineup, featuring players like Nick Richards, rookie Ryan Dunn, and Collin Gillespie, has shown improvement.

In a highlight moment of the game, Dunn executed a remarkable one-handed dunk over Antetokounmpo, sparking enthusiasm among fans. The Suns dominated the boards, recording a 52-36 rebounding advantage.

The Bucks will face the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, while the Suns are set to host the Boston Celtics.
