A collision between a red Nissan Versa and a gray Chrysler 300 occurred around 3:30 p.m. on December 11, 2024, near the intersection of Bowlin Road and John Wayne Parkway. The Nissan veered off the road and entered a Circle K parking lot following the accident.

According to Maricopa Police Department spokesperson Monica Williams, the injuries sustained in the crash were minor. However, details regarding the exact cause of the incident remain undisclosed.

In the aftermath of the crash, Bowlin Road was closed in both directions. The collision resulted in significant front-end damage to both vehicles, which had deployed airbags. The Nissan apparently struck an electrical box and a road sign after the initial impact.

Onlookers reported that emergency personnel arrived promptly. A young woman was seen sitting on a wall near the Circle K, being evaluated for injuries. She was subsequently transported to the hospital shortly before 4 p.m., as confirmed by Maricopa Fire Battalion Chief Nathan Maxcy.

“We can tell you one person was transported to the hospital,” Maxcy stated, emphasizing that two individuals were involved in the crash. Response crews from the Maricopa Fire and Medical Department were on the scene, and tow trucks arrived shortly after to clear the wreckage.
