Black Mountain Elementary School Gears Up for 14th Annual Patriot Day Celebration

Black Mountain Elementary School is preparing to celebrate its annual Patriot Day Ceremony, honoring local first responders and their families. Taking place on Tuesday, September 10th, the ceremony will recognize the bravery and dedication of these heroes through heartfelt tributes. Students will welcome first responders to the campus and participate in a musical tribute during the event held in the gymnasium.

This year, the ceremony coincides with the school’s Grandparents’ Breakfast, fostering intergenerational connections and community spirit. The gathering not only acknowledges the contributions of first responders but also strengthens the bonds between students and their families.
