The best deal in baseball is back: Here's how you can score it for yourself

PHOENIX — Baseball enthusiasts in Arizona are in for a treat with the return of the Diamondbacks Ballpark Pass, offering an affordable way to enjoy the season. For just $299, fans can access all 81 home games and two exhibition games, bringing the cost to approximately $3.60 per game.

This pass, touted as “the best deal in baseball,” not only covers game entry but also gives fans access to special giveaways and events at the ballpark. A unique feature allows pass holders to link their tickets with friends, ensuring a shared experience during the games.

Before each game, fans will receive a text message to opt in for ticket claims, which allows flexibility for those who may miss the initial game in a series. Tickets can be accessed three hours before game time via the MLB Ballpark app. Additionally, seating upgrades and guest tickets must be arranged at least four hours before the game starts.

While the pass provides a great deal, all seat locations are in the upper level, and tickets are non-transferrable. Misuse of the Ballpark Pass could lead to its revocation, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the terms of the agreement.

Phoenix is a vibrant hub for professional sports, being home to teams across four major leagues: the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, NBA’s Phoenix Suns, WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, and MLB’s Arizona Diamondbacks. Notably, State Farm Stadium in Glendale serves as the Cardinals’ home, while the Footprint Center hosts both the Suns and the Mercury. Additionally, the indoor football team, Arizona Rattlers, plays at Desert Diamond Arena.

The Valley also boasts a USL soccer team, Phoenix Rising FC, which plays at its dedicated stadium in the city. Yearly, the region hosts multiple high-profile sports events, including college football’s Fiesta Bowl, the WM Phoenix Open in golf, NASCAR races, and the Cactus League Spring Training featuring 15 Major League Baseball teams.
