Enrollment is now open for the 2024-25 school year at The School of Ballet Arizona, welcoming students from children to young adults. Open auditions are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 10, with regular school year training commencing on Monday, Aug. 12.

The school offers three distinct programs tailored to different age groups: Children’s Division, Lower Division, and Upper Division. The Children’s Division invites dancers aged 4 and up and requires no prior experience, focusing on creativity and expression through movement. For those aged 8 and above, the Lower Division provides a formal training syllabus in traditional classical ballet, divided into four levels.

Upper Division and Professional Program students are expected to commit seriously to their ballet training. These students may have the chance to perform alongside Ballet Arizona’s professional dancers. Additionally, students have the opportunity to collaborate with the Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras and get their pointe shoes fitted by Freed of London USA representatives.

Adults of all experience levels are also welcome to join open classes, ranging from former dancers returning to the studio to complete beginners. Parents can partake in classes within the same state-of-the-art studios where their children train, ensuring high-quality instruction for all.
