Arizona’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree lights up the valley

Outlets North Phoenix, formerly known as Outlets at Anthem, is set to usher in the holiday season with its annual event featuring the lighting of Arizona’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree. This festive celebration will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23, marking its 23rd year of festivities.

The event, presented by Kimes Ranch, will include live performances from American Idol alum Elleigh Marie and country artist Ashley Wineland, creating a lively atmosphere for families in attendance.

Following the concert, Santa Claus and his elves will illuminate a spectacular 70-foot-tall white fir, which made a long journey of over 750 miles from the Shasta-Trinity National Forest in California. The tree, decorated with more than 5,000 ornaments and crowned with a striking three-foot copper star, will be adorned with approximately 10,000 LED lights stretched over 1.5 miles.

“Nothing says the start of the holiday season like the lighting of the state’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree,” stated Lisa Nyrose, General Manager of Outlets North Phoenix. “For more than two decades, we have been the perfect place for Valley residents to carry on holiday traditions and create new memories with loved ones.”

In addition to the tree lighting and concert, attendees can support deployed U.S. service members through a fundraising initiative organized with Youth for Troops, a nonprofit organization dedicated to this cause.
