Arizona weather heating up: 90s forecast for the Valley starting Monday

PHOENIX — Arizona is set for a delightful Easter Sunday as clear skies dominate the forecast, leading to near-normal temperatures across the state. Highs in the Phoenix area are expected to reach the mid-80s, while the High Country will see temperatures around 60 degrees. The recent snowfall is melting quickly in these warmer conditions.

Looking ahead, a fair-weather pattern will bring dry days and afternoon temperatures in the Valley climbing back into the low 90s. No significant weather systems are anticipated this week, indicating a stable period following the recent precipitation.

In skiing news, Arizona Snowbowl reported 18 inches of fresh snow from the last storm, extending its season through the first weekend of May. Skiers will have until Cinco de Mayo to enjoy the slopes this season.

Here’s a look at the seven-day forecast:

SUNDAY: 86/57 Sunny for Easter

MONDAY: 91/62 Partly cloudy

WEDNESDAY: 92/65 Sunny & warm

THURSDAY: 91/66 Staying the course

SATURDAY: 93/66 Mainly sunny
