Arizona Boy, 12, Arrested Over Threat Against Wisconsin School
BUCKEYE, Ariz. — A 12-year-old girl from Buckeye has been arrested following allegations of making threats towards a school in Wisconsin. The Buckeye Police Department (BPD) received a call from the Milwaukee Police Department early Sunday morning, reporting that the threat was traced back to an IP address in their jurisdiction.
BPD officers promptly responded by visiting the home linked to the IP address. There, they conducted an interview with the girl and reportedly found evidence pertinent to the case. Following this investigation, she was taken into custody.
The young girl has been charged with multiple felonies, including making a terroristic threat. In a statement, the Buckeye police clarified that there were no threats made against any schools within Buckeye itself, assuring the community that there was no imminent danger.
