Another round of below normal numbers for The Valley


There’s a slight possibility of monsoon moisture impacting southeast Arizona as winds begin to pick up after 2 p.m. today.

In Phoenix, a string of below-normal temperatures is expected to continue through Wednesday. However, warmer conditions will return on Thursday as high pressure builds over the region.

This week presents daily chances for showers and thunderstorms in eastern Arizona. Southern Gila County could see a modest chance (10% to 25%) of rain late this morning into the afternoon. Elsewhere, dry conditions will be the norm, with afternoon and evening winds reaching up to 25 mph.
