Altitude Trampoline Park Soars to Success: Thousands Flock Monthly in Havasu’s Thriving First Year
Lake Havasu City’s Altitude Trampoline Park is celebrating its second year of operation, drawing in thousands of visitors each month. Opened in October 2022, the family-friendly venue caters to locals and travelers alike, fulfilling a significant need for indoor recreational options.
General Manager Randi Thornock reported an impressive membership attendance of over 9,500 in July, with monthly visitor levels typically between 6,000 and 7,500. “December, March, and July were busy with out-of-town guests,” she noted, highlighting the park’s growing popularity. The previously empty parking lot is now bustling, bringing families together for fun and food.
Since its launch, Altitude has hosted at least 30 events, ranging from seasonal camps to themed jump nights. Ongoing activities aim to enhance community engagement, with regular offerings throughout the week. Thornock emphasized that drop-offs for children during events are not allowed, ensuring a family-oriented environment.
For homeschooling families, Altitude provides dedicated hours on Mondays and Wednesdays, where children can jump for $8 per hour from noon to 3 p.m. “Our community is known for its annual special events,” said Thornock, who is committed to making Altitude a hub for family activities.
New weekly events are set to launch, including NFL game nights every Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. Attendees can win prizes sponsored by local businesses. Additionally, late jumpers can take advantage of a two-hour jump discount of $22 for two guests.
On Fridays, the venue introduces FIT Fridays, offering jump fitness classes at 5:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., with on-site childcare available for the later session. Saturdays feature Glow in the Park, an event with DJ Good Vibez from 6 to 9 p.m. Furthermore, a week-long fall day camp themed around gratitude runs from October 7 to October 11 for kids aged 5 to 12.
Altitude Trampoline Park will celebrate its first-anniversary party on October 18, coinciding with Friday Night Friendzy, followed by a special gathering for founding members on October 19. An after-party for Lake Havasu High School’s homecoming is scheduled for October 26, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. The month concludes with Spooktacular events leading up to Halloween, running from October 27 to October 31.
Thornock stated, “We are here to bring innovative ideas to the community, and we hope to collaborate with many businesses and organizations to make that happen.” Event fees are set at $5 for members and $20 for non-members for three-hour gatherings. Detailed information about memberships and ticket reservations is accessible on Altitude’s website.
