All Aboard the Bloodmobile: Maricopa’s Lifesaving Blood Drive Set for March 3

Central Arizona College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter is set to host a blood drive at the Maricopa Campus on March 3. This event, organized in partnership with Vitalant, will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
As the official honor society for two-year community colleges, Phi Theta Kappa, specifically the Alpha Theta Delta chapter, plays a vital role in supporting both local students and global initiatives.
Blood donation itself takes about 10 minutes; however, participants should allow for a total time of 30 to 45 minutes in the Vitalant Bloodmobile. Donors are advised to consume a hearty meal and stay hydrated beforehand to ensure a smooth experience.
While appointments are encouraged, walk-ins will also be accepted. To register, interested individuals can visit Vitalant.org and enter the blood drive code centralazcollege.
Donors will receive a voucher for one adult admission ticket to the Renaissance Festival and will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $5,000 gift card.
