Evelyn Clark, a veteran in the hospitality industry, is celebrating an impressive 39 years at the London Bridge Resort. Her journey began in 1985 as a hostess, marking the start of a remarkable career.

Throughout the years, Clark has embraced various roles within the resort’s operations. “I actually started in the restaurant,” she reminisced. “It was called King’s Retreat back then.” Today, she plays a pivotal role in organizing and serving guests at a range of special events.

From quinceaneras and boat regattas to weddings, Clark’s work brings joy to many, allowing her to connect deeply with diverse guests. “I enjoy what I’m doing. It makes a difference if you like what you’re doing,” she noted, reflecting on her passion for her job.

In high-pressure situations, Clark employs calming techniques to maintain her composure. The fulfillment she derives from facilitating memorable experiences for guests keeps her motivated. “A lot of people ask me, ‘Why are you still here? Retire,’” she shared. “I like doing this, so why not?”
