Pima’s Brooke Valencia Dominates as ACCAC Goalie of the Week

Pima Community College women’s soccer player Brooke Valencia, a standout from Sabino High School, has earned recognition in the form of the first Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) weekly award for the 2024-25 season.

Valencia, a freshman, was honored as the ACCAC Division II Goalkeeper of the Week for her impressive performance during the week of August 18-24.

In Pima’s season opener against Scottsdale Community College, she showcased her skills by conceding just one goal while making 10 crucial saves, contributing to a 2-1 victory.

The Aztecs are set to host their home opener on Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Field, where they will face off against Paradise Valley Community College. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
