‘Shopping Extravaganza’ Empowers Havasu’s Local Entrepreneurs

Kelly Anderson, a realtor with Keller Williams Arizona Living Realty, is actively supporting local small businesses in Lake Havasu by organizing unique shopping events. Her initiative, known as the Havasu Shopping Extravaganza, aims to foster connections between vendors and the local community.

Anderson, who also runs her jewelry business, Aloha by Kelly E., recognizes the challenges faced by small business owners. “We provide unique handmade items from local crafters, bakers, and small businesses,” she noted, highlighting the diverse range of products available at the event.

Among the offerings at the extravaganza are handmade soaps, custom wood clocks, lotions, skincare products, and handcrafted resin art. Anderson estimates that attendance for these events typically falls between 200 and 250 customers, demonstrating a strong interest in supporting local artisans.

The summer months can present difficulties for small business owners, as finding affordable venues for showcasing their goods can be a challenge. Anderson expressed gratitude for the opportunity to create a platform where local businesses can thrive together.
