The City of Maricopa has officially announced the lineup for its upcoming Concerts in the Park series, set to kick off on October 19 and continue on November 2. Featured artists include local talents, the Kruse Brothers, known for their bluesy folk rock Americana sound, and Jaty Edwards, who blends rock influences with country music.

Quinn Konold, a spokesperson for the city, expressed enthusiasm for showcasing Arizona’s musical diversity. “We’re going to be highlighting some amazing Arizona-based bands in this Concerts in the Park series,” he stated.

These free concerts will take place at Copper Sky Regional Park, located at 44345 MLK Jr. Blvd. Attendees can look forward to an assortment of food trucks and a bar serving alcoholic beverages. While concert-goers can bring their own food, outside alcohol is prohibited.

Parking at the event will be complimentary. Organizers encourage attendees to bring foldable lawn chairs or blankets for seating on the grass by the park’s lake. However, pop-up canopies are not permitted on the grounds.

Gates will open at 4:45 p.m., with live music scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Konold confirmed that details for the November 2 concert’s entertainment will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

This series receives support from various sponsors, including Duke’s Roadhouse, which is currently developing a new restaurant and Western dance bar in the city’s Heritage District. Additional sponsors include Harrah’s Ak-Chin, Orbitel Communications, and Explore Pinal County.

With a blend of local talent and community support, the Concerts in the Park series promises to be a notable addition to Maricopa’s cultural landscape this fall.
