Brace for a Weekend Warm-Up: Spring-Like Temperatures Ahead!
PHOENIX — Storm conditions are expected to predominantly affect northern Arizona, the White Mountains, and Tucson this Tuesday. As the week progresses, drier air is predicted to flow into the region, leading to a notable decline in monsoon activity. By the end of the workweek, humidity levels may rise again, resulting in a resurgence of storm chances, particularly in elevated areas.
This week’s temperatures will gradually increase. The forecast indicates highs of 107 degrees in Phoenix on Tuesday, with temperatures again reaching the 110s by Friday and into the weekend. Remarkably, this past Sunday marked the 77th consecutive day with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees, surpassing the previous record of 76 days set in August 1993. With the ongoing heat, it’s likely that this record will continue to grow.
Here’s the detailed weather forecast for the upcoming days:
TUESDAY: 88/107 Mostly sunny
WEDNESDAY: 87/109 Sunny, not as humid
THURSDAY: 88/109 Sunny, warmer
FRIDAY: 88/110 Mostly sunny
SATURDAY: 86/110 Partly cloudy
SUNDAY: 89/110 Partly cloudy
