Progressive construction and development activities define the recent weeks in Maricopa. A detailed list of permits issued between June 10 and July 5 reveals significant investments in both commercial and residential sectors.

Commercial Permits

Copa Mechanic has received a permit for a commercial shade structure valued at $8,000.

The City of Maricopa issued permits for several structures, including shade structures for dog parks, playgrounds, and a pool BBQ area at Copper Sky, worth $132,000.

Home at Maricopa obtained approval for constructing a 2,300-square-foot swimming pool.

Other permits include those for four- and five-story residential buildings.

A monument sign for Home Depot and surrounding commercial developments was approved for Stonegate BFC.

Honeycutt Luxury Rentals has plans for a significant addition, receiving permits for an 1,800-square-foot swimming pool valued at $101,000 and 20 at-risk foundation permits for their Honeycutt Run project. The project developer is Bela Flor Communities.

Additionally, Honeycutt Luxury Rentals secured permits for 163 units within Honeycutt Run.

Villas at West Maricopa Village were issued 18 permits for Innovation Villas at 21055 N. Village Pkwy.

Venture Investment Group received a zoning permit for Mandy’s Wine Bar and Restaurant.

Wal-Mart Stores gained a zoning permit for tenant improvements within the Walmart premises.

Residential Permits

Century Communities is set to construct one home in The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado and six in Tortosa.

D.R. Horton plans to build eight homes in Sorrento and 18 in The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado.

KB Home received permits for constructing five homes in Desert Passage and six more in Tortosa.

K. Hovnanian Homes will be building a single home in Rancho Mirage.

Lennar received approval for nine homes in Anderson Farms.

Meritage Homes is on track to construct six homes in Rancho Mirage, two in Province, and one in Tortosa.

Richmond American Homes will construct two homes within The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado.

The variety and scope of these permits illustrate a steady growth trend in Maricopa, boosting both residential and commercial infrastructure.
