Record-breaking temperatures are expected in the Valley this coming Monday, with a Weather Impact Alert issued for the region through Tuesday. The forecast indicates a steady warming trend, leading Phoenix to a high of 114°F on Sunday and potentially hitting 116°F on Monday, surpassing the previous record of 115°F set in 2013.
This weekend should remain dry, with storms remaining absent; however, monsoon moisture is anticipated to increase across Arizona throughout the week. Isolated thunderstorms may develop in far eastern and southeastern areas on Monday and Tuesday. More widespread moisture will arrive by Wednesday and Thursday, introducing the first chances for showers and thunderstorms in the Valley during the 2025 monsoon season, most likely on Thursday.
The forecast for the Fourth of July indicates below-average temperatures, slightly increased humidity, and a slim chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms. Residents are encouraged to stay updated as weather patterns evolve.
