Tragic Collision Claims Life in West Valley

PHOENIX — A head-on collision early Thursday morning has resulted in one fatality and two injuries. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of 67th Avenue and Osborn Road, according to police reports.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a severely injured driver, who was later pronounced dead. His identity has yet to be released.

Authorities believe the deceased was driving southbound when he unexpectedly veered into the northbound lane, though the cause remains unclear.

The two occupants of the other vehicle sustained injuries that are not deemed life-threatening. Police continue to investigate the details of the crash, which are still subject to change as new information emerges.
