Major Crash Shuts Down Intersection in North Phoenix

PHOENIX — A serious motorcycle accident left one man with life-threatening injuries late Tuesday night. The Phoenix Police Department responded to the intersection of 7th Street and Grovers Avenue around 9:30 p.m. to investigate the scene.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the motorcyclist trapped under a vehicle. The intersection lies between two major thoroughfares: 7th Street and Bell Road and 7th Street and Union Hills Drive.

Emergency responders from the Phoenix Fire Department worked swiftly to extricate the man. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.

Authorities are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. As a result, the intersection remains closed for several hours.
