McDonald's releases new McFlurry flavor

McDonald’s is introducing a new menu item that promises to delight customers this summer. The fast-food giant announced the arrival of the Hershey’s S’mores McFlurry, set to be available nationwide starting June 10. This sweet treat features creamy vanilla soft serve, rich Hershey’s milk chocolate, crunchy graham crackers, and fluffy marshmallows.

Each serving of the S’mores McFlurry contains about 460 calories, with a mini version available at approximately 280 calories. Although the official launch is upcoming, select customers can already find the McFlurry in the McDonald’s app.

This new dessert is debuting just in time for the much-anticipated reintroduction of the Snack Wrap, scheduled for July 10. Originally launched nearly two decades ago, the Snack Wrap consists of a tortilla filled with chicken, lettuce, shredded cheese, and a flavorful sauce. However, its complicated preparation led to its discontinuation in the U.S. back in 2016.

In 2020, the Snack Wrap was fully phased out, but customer demand persisted. Recently, McDonald’s teased its return, with hints posted on social media, including an intriguing reference to “snack wraps 0x.14.2025.” Furthermore, a May press release celebrated the introduction of the McCrispy Strips, signaling a shift in the menu landscape with a playful nod, “And that’s a wrap…at least for now.”

Fans have long campaigned for the return of the Snack Wrap. In a notable interview, Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, acknowledged the product’s dedicated following, explaining the high volume of requests he’s received.

While the specific pricing for the Snack Wrap remains undisclosed, it will vary depending on location. As the summer approaches, McDonald’s is poised to engage enthusiasts with these nostalgic flavors.
