Music, tacos & margaritas galore for Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is set to infuse Tucson with vibrant entertainment, diverse cuisine, and captivating festivities this weekend. The city, recognized as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, boasts numerous Mexican restaurants, making it a prime destination for food lovers.

On Sunday, May 4, Hotel Congress Plaza will host Tios & Tias, starting at 3 p.m. DJ Chris Villa returns to spin tracks reminiscent of his previous musical experience. General admission tickets are priced at $25, with VIP options available. This event is limited to attendees aged 21 and over.

The celebrations continue on Monday, May 5, at the Forty Niner Country Club, running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy a taco trip for $14, house margaritas for $8, and elote for $10, while non-alcoholic margaritas are offered at $7.

For those seeking a unique dining experience, the Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort will present a Cinco de Mayo brunch on Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The extensive menu features seafood, breakfast items, and street tacos. Adult tickets are priced at $75, while kids ages 6-12 dine for $40, and children under 5 eat for free. Live mariachi music by Luz de Luna will enhance the festive atmosphere.
