Woman Charged with Father’s Murder in Shocking SWAT Arrest in Glennwilde

Reilan Ashleigh Anderson, 33, was arrested by Phoenix SWAT in connection with her father’s murder on May 1, 2025. The incident occurred in Glendale, Arizona, where authorities responded to a shooting that left Reginald Allen Anderson, 61, dead.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers discovered a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds upon arrival. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting reportedly took place at the victim’s residence, located at the intersection of Oregon and 101st Avenues.

Following the incident, Anderson was apprehended in the Hawthorne neighborhood of Glennwilde. She was found at a residence on West Avella Drive, which is associated with one of her relatives. Public records indicate that the family moved to the Phoenix area from Southern California in recent years.

Anderson now faces serious charges, including first-degree murder and aggravated assault, and has been booked into a Maricopa County jail.
