Police identify motorcyclist killed in Phoenix crash


PHOENIX — A tragic motorcycle crash in Phoenix on Friday night resulted in the death of a 38-year-old man, identified as Julio Suarez. According to Phoenix Police, the incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of 51st and Southern avenues.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered Suarez’s motorcycle crashed on the roadside with him positioned nearby. Firefighters pronounced him dead at the site. An initial investigation revealed that Suarez had been speeding through the intersection before losing control of the motorcycle. This caused him to veer off the road, where his vehicle collided with a metal fence and a telephone junction box.

Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the crash. As authorities continue their investigation, further details are expected to emerge.
