Festival Showcases the Rich Tapestry of Mexico’s Heritage

The Spirits of Mexico Festival is set to return to Downtown Phoenix on March 22-23, promising a vibrant celebration of Mexico’s cultural heritage. Scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Heritage Square, located at 113 N. 6th St., the event will center on the state of Nayarit.
Nayarit is renowned for its breathtaking Pacific coastline and rich Indigenous traditions, making it an ideal highlight for this year’s festival. Attendees can look forward to an engaging lineup that includes live music, traditional dance performances, art displays, and culinary experiences. The festival will also feature cooking classes, mixology workshops, and an expansive area dedicated to sampling Mexico’s famous distilled spirits, such as tequila, mezcal, sotol, and bacanora.
Organizers aim to celebrate and sustain community ties through immersive cultural experiences. The event promotes bi-national engagement and encourages economic development while offering meaningful interactions for all attendees.
Tickets are available for general admission at $10, with children under 12 granted free entry. Those seeking a more exclusive experience can purchase VIP tickets for $45, which include access to cooking and mixology classes, as well as craft and spirit education sessions.
