Phoenix Fitness Coach Plans Spa Transformation of Heritage Home Featuring Ozempic Offerings

An application has been submitted to the city of Maricopa seeking approval to convert a residential home into a med spa. The proposed business aims to provide a range of non-invasive procedures, including Ozempic injections.
Located in a predominantly residential area near Plainview Street and Honeycutt Road, the site is situated in the Heritage District. Applicant Caron McAnulty intends to transform a 1,000-square-foot house, built in 1973, into the business, which would offer services like Botox and microneedling laser therapy.
The venture, named Revive and Renew Aesthetics, shares its name with McAnulty’s existing operation in Phoenix, situated in a business park that currently has no reviews on platforms such as Yelp or Google. It’s worth noting that other businesses with similar names, such as Revive Med Spa in California and Revive Medical Aesthetics in Scottsdale, also exist in the market.
McAnulty plans to run the spa as an appointment-only facility. The site will remain unobtrusive from Honeycutt Road, yet it must comply with Maricopa zoning regulations for business signage. This area, characterized by a mix of residential and commercial properties, includes mostly homes and a few non-residential buildings, like the nearby Masjid Bilal ibn Rabah mosque.
In an interview with InMaricopa, McAnulty revealed her intention to compete with established med spa services in Maricopa, specifically targeting Maricopa Wellness Center and Vitiello Primary Care. Her team will feature certified professionals, including a nurse practitioner and estheticians. “I have a nurse practitioner, an injector, an esthetician, and laser techs,” she stated, emphasizing her offerings, which include semaglutide (Ozempic).
Blueprints submitted with the application outline separate spaces for facial and skin treatments, a room for Botox fillers, and a reception area. McAnulty, who is also a personal trainer, mentioned her active engagement on social media, maintaining a YouTube channel with over 14,000 subscribers.
